Which cartridge for what?
| Cartridge | Use |
|---|---|
| Wound | Depth filtration with high dirt holding; general process liquids |
| Melt blown | Economical fine filtration from polypropylene fibre; common in water and chemicals |
| Pleated | Large surface, low pressure drop; higher flow, consistent rating |
| Activated carbon | Removes odour, colour and dissolved substances such as chlorine |
Cartridges come in 1–100 µm ratings and 10, 20, 30 and 40 inch lengths, with DOE or SOE ends.
Frequently asked questions
When should a cartridge be replaced?
When the differential pressure across the housing reaches the set limit. Wound and melt blown cartridges are single use.
What do you need to quote?
Cartridge type, micron rating, length, end connection, fluid, temperature and flow. Photos and dimensions of your current cartridge help.
